Intel inside: Accessing the Power within

“Quiet the mind, and the soul will speak.”

It's amazing what our brain's have the capacity to achieve. The collective brainpower of our planet has produced some unimaginable feats of engineering, especially as of late. But just how unimaginable are these feats if they are a product of the reality we experience today? Space shuttles. The Internet. Vaccines. They all were conceptualized in the mind.

Some of the world's leading scientists, athletes and artist's use mindfulness and meditation techniques to help them not only manage emotions like anxiety, but also to tap into their inner wisdom where infinite possibilities and creative energy reside. Timelessness. This is where we access, depending on your views, the Spiritual realm where God or Love resides. Perhaps the Matrix, from a scientific approach. Superman even has his Fortress of Solitude.

Getting caught up in identifying or observing this magical Narnia from a CERN perspective is irrelevant compared to experiencing it for ourselves. Many people refer to it as our Home. There are quick ways to get there with the help of psilocybin (psychedelic mushrooms), an ayahuasca retreat or even hypnotherapy. The tried and true way is the same way Buddha and Jesus did it: Meditation. Even the creators of "Intel inside" don't just treat it as a slogan.

When I first started meditating to help me manage my anxiety I would negative self-talk myself out of it, so I struggled for a while. I would say, "I can't sit still for that long" or "It's not worth my time." I learned to reframe my thoughts and realized I CAN sit still for a long time (but it's not necessary) and it is SO worth making time for an activity that has vastly improved my overall well-being. I can't say enough about the benefits of meditation and how it has helped me in all areas of my life. The best way for anyone to really learn what it's like or how it can benefit them is to experience it for themselves.
