Celebrating small wins

"Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead."

Setting big goals for ourselves can seem overwhelming at first. Obtaining an advanced degree. Launching a business. Losing a bunch of weight. It can be hard to imagine the finish line if we are too busy staring at the obstacles in our way. Bigger goals require more discipline and effort to prevent us from giving up on ourselves before we reach our ultimate goal. A great way to stay committed for the long haul is to celebrate the small wins along the way.

Today is a big milestone for Subatomic Zen as this is the 100th blog post! I have not missed one day since starting three months ago. I made a commitment to myself to post daily and have held myself accountable. I am grateful to every subscriber who helps hold me accountable too, especially you daily readers! 🙏 I don't want to let us down and I do not intend to. I'm in this for the long haul and I hope you stick with me as we grow together!

This blog is in its infancy. I have goals for subscribers and partnering with other blogs and websites focused on promoting health and wellness. Sometimes, those bigger milestones seem far off, but I do not let it deter me. I take the baby steps approach: One blog post and one day at a time. What helps me is days like today: 100 blog posts without missing a day! It gives me hope and keeps me motivated to stay committed to helping people level up in life by providing inspiring and motivational content with additional More Wellness! resources.

Having already accomplished bigger goals helps me stay focused and motivated to keep striving and thriving. Those milestones and small wins along the way can provide us with the extra boost of excited anticipation we need to keep plugging away until we finally cross the finish line. Degree earned! Business launched! Goal weight achieved! As long as we keep stacking up those small wins, we can eventually reach our ultimate goal. Celebrating the small wins helps us stay motivated so we can enjoy the ride along the way!
